Is there any situations when you recite the basmallah are not counted as sunnah?

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
Assalamualaikum.

Tahun dua semester satu memunculkan diri. Semestinya banyak azam baru, semangat baru, buku baju kasut segala mak nenek semua baru. kan? Yuk! We start our new sem with basmallah. 

Prophet SAW said : 

كل أمر ذي بال لم يبدأ ببسم الله فهو أقطع

Any important word that does not begin with Bismillah is imperfect.

Another version , 

  كل أمر ذي بال لم يبدأ ببسم الله فهو ابتر

Any important work that does not begin with Bismillah is devoid of barakah.

Jabir radiyallahu anhu is reported to have said that when Bismillahirrahmanirrahim was revealed, the clouds gave way by moving to the East, the winds ceased blowing. the oceans became calm, the creatures prepared themselves to listen, the shayatin were pelted with fire from the heavens and Allah SWT, swearing on oath by His honour, declared that : Anyone who says this name of mine upon anything, I will surely impart barakah in that thing.

Recite the basmallah is sunnah. So, it is highly recommended for us to recite it. 

But, bear in mind...

There are five situations when you recite the basmallah are not counted as sunnah.

Pertama, haram dzati. Contohnya, minum arak. Haram baca bismillah

Kedua, makruh dzati. Contoh, nak makan budu sahaja tak dicampur benda lain. Makruh kita baca bismillah.

Ketiga, nak solat. Bismillah, lepas tu takbir. Kalau baca, tak dikira haram. Tak dikira makruh. Tapi, tak dapat apa-apa. 

Keempat, nak zikir. Tak perlu baca bismillah, lepas tu subhanallah. Tidak disuruh baca.

Kelima, sesuatu yang syara' kata hina. Contoh, buang air, buang hingus etc.


Selain dari kelima-lima ni, semuanya sunnah.
